The Pillars Hotel & Club

Nestled in a scenic spot on the Intracoastal Waterway, the upscale dining at The Pillars Hotel made for a truly special evening. The innovative menu, accompanied by an excellent wine selection, was fantastic as always. Attentive service from the wait staff made the experience even better. This is a must-visit spot.

The Food and service are excellent. The ambiance of being on the water and sun setting are unparalleled in Fort Lauderdale on the intercostal. Understated, classy, elegant .Fabulous wine selection. We highly recommend staying at the Pillars.

The Pillars Hotel is a beautiful intimate boutique hotel on the inter coastal. Wonderful accommodations and private pool area. The staff was the BEST- Gracious and personable. Fabulous location 2 blocks from the beach and with beautiful views of the intercostal. Clean rooms with nice linens . My lunch there was better there than the nearby Ritz Carlton. Highly recommend this spot! Thank you, Pillars!

The night was excellent, food and service superb. Dinner on the water in Fort Lauderdale was beautiful. The management was friendly and attentive. Can not wait to go back to the secret garden. It’s one of our favorite places for a family dinner or a couples night out.

This hotel has literally gone downhill fast since our last trip in 2019. We checked into our room in the main house and quickly discovered the room was filthy. Floors counters walls unclean. Tile in shower has water film on it that could have been polished off. Baseboard near door hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. We complained and they moved us to a larger room for no extra charge but it wasn’t better. The AC was very loud and there was a musty scent in the outer living area. Couch had stains on it, pull out bed was very old and uncomfortable. The one small bath had no zero water pressure making it unusable. It took about 10-15 minutes for water to get warm. You order room service at front desk (weird) and then they served you. The cup and saucers on the table were dirty. Took about 20 minutes to get food, it was just okay and not hot leading me to question whether or not it was cooked on the premises. The patio area needed much restoration tiles cracked and dirty and there were NO cushions on chairs and lounges outside. We asked, they said they bought new chairs that did not require cushions—— not the case from our perspective it only saved the time for non-existent staff to remove and replace during bad weather. We had to request towels for our room three times before we received them. Overall opinion is we will never return. Sad considering the wonderful experience we had in years past.

This is a top-notch hotel in a gorgeous location on the water in Fort Lauderdale. The service was impeccable and the restaurant served gourmet cuisine. The rooms are lovely and well-appointed. I highly recommend The Pillars and can’t wait to go back!

This is a fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s beach and intracoastal neighborhoods. Wonderfully appointed rooms surrounded the lovely pool. We also had an amazing meal on the deck overlooking the water as the sun set. Just a great place to stay as a couple or with friends and family. I’m Fort Lauderdale raised with plenty of other options, but I always try to stay at The Pillars for making my visit to my hometown something special.

The hotel is apparently very sweet however beware of the rooms in the Annex. The annex is in a separate building which is NOT on the water like the main building. They do not tell you this, though. It is a separate building on a terribly noisy intersection where cars and motorcycles start and stop between blaring music, squealing brakes, and backfiring engines - it was anything but idyllic. The room was well appointed, however distinctly smelled of mildew despite the air purifier which they had put in the room and turned on. I am allergic to mold, and I spent the entire weekend coughing and sneezing. There was NO manager on duty for the entire weekend - I was given an email address which I wrote to but absolutely no one replied. I knew the hotel was sold out so they couldn’t move us within the hotel, but how about answering and trying to find some kind of a solution… ?? The continental breakfast included in our rate (Hilton gold member) was pitiful at best. Very average quality, meager portion of croissants and danish, no fruit, cheese, cold cuts or anything else (evidently the owner has never been on the “continent” in a “luxury” hotel for a “continental breakfast “… The sliced toasted bread was supermarket quality at best. Not to mention that they serve everything out on their dock but then they charge you extra to serve out there… The restaurant Saturday night was very pleasant - the food was ok but not fantastic. So if you’re thinking about spending $500+ a night for a sweet, relaxing weekend, look elsewhere.

The hotel is conveniently located in a great area, but very quite. The view from the marina is great, free parking a beautiful perk.

Our room was a bit dark and not really clean.
