Planters Inn on Reynolds Square

The Planters Inn is a step back in time, when the lobby was a gathering place, guests mingled and the pace of life was slower. That still prevails today, wine and cheese with piano accompaniment each late afternoon in the lobby.

The hotel is showing its age with peeling paint on the window sashes, furniture missing drawer pull, and a deep cleaning of the carpet edges around all the base boards (especially under the bed).

The location, was excellent. We were within walking distance of history,and culture. Many food choices with much variety. Transportation buses were free DOT, getting around was easy . Lots of nearby shops and galleries ++

Zentrale Lage und freundliches Personal

Muffiger Geruch in den Fluren und im Zimmer. Sehr alte Teppichböden mit massiven Abnutzungsspuren, sehr alte Möbel, Farbe im Bad blättert von der Decke ab. Das Bett hat bei jeder Bewegung sehr laut gequietscht. Der muffige Geruch war so massiv, dass er uns über unsere Kopfkissen und Schlafanzüge ins nächste, glücklicherweise wieder gepflegte und moderne Hotel, verfolgt hat. Insgesamt hätte bereits vor langer Zeit eine umfassende Renovierung stattfinden müssen. Glücklicherweise war dieses Hotel die einzige negative Erfahrung auf unserer Rundreise.

Location is great. Cute hotel. Older but clean and nice. We did not have breakfast or experience the Pink House. Coffee was excellent!!
