"Wonderful time"

This is our second time back for Afternoon Tea and I brought my grandmother along this time. We had a lovely visit and Jill was looking after our table, she was ever so delightful! Thank you again for another wonderful experience

"Stunning place, excellent staff, will definately be back again"

10.0

What a beautiful place! The courtyard for an afternoon drink was perfect. We had one of the cheapest rooms but was still exceptional and big. We ate in the Grill and it was so nice! Staff were so friendly and welcoming and one of the concierge guys ‘Paul’ was great - extremely welcoming, helpful and remembered us every time he saw us. Made our stay very special.

The only negative was lack of information before arrival about parking. We couldn’t figure out where the carpark was and there were no signs. However we did manage to park on the main road while we checked in, and then the concierge valet parked our car so actually ended up being a great service - just need more info before arrival.

"Poor service, overpriced, but nice building"

4.0

Service is shocking. Hotel is overpriced. Whilst the staff are friendly they lack any form of direction. Stayed 1 night in a very small room - Lacked the simple things that most rooms have these days - Fridge, coffee machine and accessible power points. Had afternoon tea - Average at best and service very poor. We arrived 10 mins late and our booked table was not even ready. Had to get up and ask for tea refills - i.e no one came back to us once they had delivered the tea/food. Breakfast again slow service. I wonder if they just think they can get away with this because most customers are international?

"James Martin !! Really."

4.0

Very very disappointed with our visit to The Lygon Arms in Broadway. Went for a family Sunday lunch to celebrate a birthday. I cannot believe that James Martin has put his name to the food in this establishment. It was £47.50 for 2 courses. Please don't waste your money. If we'd have paid £10, I would have felt hard done by. We have any number of local places serving Sunday lunches for far less money and much better quality. The staff were nice, as was the building. But that's it. I had the lamb, it was very poor quality, as was the beef. What happened to James Martins famous yorkshire pudding? They were tragic. We had some from M&S the week before which were 10 times better. £7.50 for a pint of lager, that's too much.
