"A lovely pre Christmas stay with family"

Middlethorpe is a beautiful elegant hotel full of wonderful furniture and decor. I loved our traditional rooms, the delicious evening food and good wine. The staff provide great customer service that’s not overly fussy, just as I like it. It was fun exploring the extensive gardens, which are well maintained. Attention to detail is high. Lots of lovely tasteful Christmas touches in our rooms (real Christmas trees) and throughout the hotel.

Would have enjoyed low key music in the drawing room and dining rooms especially during dinner (there was only music in the inner entrance hall)

"Just heaven"

There was nothing not to like. Fab from moment we arrived till well after we left. Doors opened for us treated like royalty. Everything was fab. Will def be back next year

Nothing apart from we had to leave i mean how could you send us back to work . On plus side going to wotk pays for us to come back again
