L’atmosfera di vecchia casa di campagna veramente bella. Colazione molto buona.

Ha bisogno di una ristrutturazione importante, la camera che ho avuto, la 55 è completamente anonima, vecchia, non ha nulla di 5 stelle. È in un ala probabilmente costruita in seguito che accoglie anche la Spa

Sehr schönes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal. Ausstattung Badezimmer ein bisschen in die Jahre gekommen.

Restaurant eher teuer aber nicht empfehlenswert.

Amazing small castle luxury hotel. Staff was super friendly and helpful with anything needed. Check in process was great despite chaos of car show. Food and diner service was also top tier. We were provided with a free upgrade to a suite.

Foi a segunda vez que estive no Hotel. A primeira vez com o meu marido e agora apenas com o meu filho. Sem dúvida que é um excelente hotel, sobretudo para viagens românticas. Os quartos são confortáveis, o pequeno almoço é bom e variado, a área envolvente é muito agradável. Com uma criança, é menos simples. Tem o jardim da quinta das lágrimas com imenso espaço para explorar, o Portugal dos pequenitos mesmo ao lado e vários restaurantes perto. Torna-se um pouco mais complicado garantir que se consiga comportar em certas zonas de mais requinte e tranquilidade para adultos. Mas de resto, recomendo.

Faço talvez a mesma crítica que fiz da última vez: há alguns pontos que necessitam de remodelação, mantendo na mesma o charme do antigo, nomeadamente armários, maçanetas de portas e carpetes.

Well, what a treat this was (as we don't normally book 5-star places). The hotel is set just across the river from Coimbra itself in beautiful grounds which are well worth a look around (especially when lit up at night). We were given a booklet by Reception when we checked in which gives all the history and legends of the Palace as well, along with a welcome drink :) Our room in the Palace itself was large, quiet, and very comfortable, and all the facilities in the hotel were spotless. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of Beirao in the room too (hadn't heard of it before, but very palatable!). The breakfast was absolutely superb, and the staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout. We ate in the bar one evening and, again, thought it was excellent.

The staff are fantastic. The former palace and the park are attractions in and of themselves. We spent some time roaming around both, the library is very much worth a visit. So are the woods in the park.
