Knob Hill Inn

There was no central air in this hotel. They have a portable unit which was noisy and hard to regulate..either you were hot or too cold. It was hot over the Fourth of July s o the hallways were warm. Also toilet is low to the ground and really needs an update. The shower had low water delivery. I was disappointed but could not leave as we had paid 5 days in advance.

We loved that Knob Hill Inn is away from the crowd, but still very convenient. The breakfast is great! There’s also an on/site restaurant for dinner with fabulous food…especially loved the prime rib and Idaho mashed potatoes!

Hotel is in need of a renovation. We stayed here a few years ago and it was in much better shape although dated at that time. The rooms on the side facing Ketchum share an exhaust vent with the restaurant. our room was directly below the exhaust vent so we could not enjoy the balcony in the evening as it smelled of fried onions. we could not even open the screen door due to the overpowering smell. Surely they could’ve come up with a better solution for venting the restaurant than blasting the nasty smell to all the balconies on that the side of the hotel.

Stay was great. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.

Wonderful stay. Clean, comfy bed, great location, and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.
