The Cellars-Hohenort

This hotel was extremely nice and comfortable. It is a beautiful grounds and a great location. Rooms are very quaint and the breakfast is incredible. I really want to thank Brittany at the front desk (with the super cool nails) for her kindness. When our flight was delayed almost 14 hours and we had nowhere to go late at night, Brittany went out of her way to offer us the reserve room that is not normally offered (since we already checked out), so that we could rest for a few hours ahead of a long trip. We were exhausted and it made all the difference to be able to shower and rest for a bit. She was incredibly kind and took the initiative to provide five star service. It is people like this that make hotels remarkable, and she is exactly the same kind of person who represents the best this hotel has to offer. Many thanks to her and the team for our incredible stay!

Herrliches historisches Anwesen in ruhiger, sicherer Lage im Außenbereich der Stadt. Sehr freundliches Personal, herzlicher Service, herrlicher Garten, hervorragendes Essen.

Nichts. Nur ein Innenpool wäre bei dem schlechten Wetter spitze gewesen ;o)

Truly Exceptional Experience and an Excellent Choice to Stay in Cape Town. The welcome was warm, friendly and professional, followed by an equally exceptional introduction to the hotel areas and our suite. We were given a complimentary uograde. Whole team are very friendly, helpful and professional. Our suite was well equipped and beautifully furnished. The High Tea was outstanding, one of the best we have had and truly compares with the best in the world, matching and even surpassing the likes of the Ritz. Dorchester and George V. Dinners and lunch are very good and the Cellars restaurant and lounge areas have great ambience. We most certainly will return and recommend to anyone visiting the area.

This was an absolute treat of a stay. It was for our honeymoon and we were treated incredibly nice. We made sure to make use of all the amenities. We got one of the best massages we’ve ever gotten. The dinners were so tasty and breakfast was worth going to. Have zero complaints.

Ontbijt rijkelijk. Aangezien het winterseizoen gestart was, werden er s'avonds verwarmde waterkruiken in bed gelegd. Omgeving heel mooi aangelegd. Rustgevend en veilig.

Badkamer niet verwarmd. Bij ontbijt moest ik 2 keer 20 minuten wachten om mijn kop koffie te krijgen, alhoewel er voldoende bedieningspersoneel was. (Keukenprobleem?). Na klacht daarover ontving ik een gratis fles wijn ter compensatie.

Красивый отель в колониальном стиле, каждый номер оформлен с индивидуальным дизайном и использованием предметов искусства. Очень красивая, ухоженная территория, много растений и цветов. Ручные белки вокруг, утки, ибисы. Виноградники прямо у здания отеля. Очень вкусная еда с выбором блюд на разный вкус!
