The extensive, impeccably maintained gardens create the sense of a countryside escape, a peaceful slice of paradise just waiting to be wandered. The staff are unfailingly polite and genuinely helpful, and the interiors strike a lovely balance between elegant and quirky. There’s a playful nod to Africa throughout, with vibrant fabrics and ceramics by renowned South African design house Ardmore adding character without ever feeling overdone. Add in two heated pools, a beautifully kept tennis court, and the overall atmosphere of relaxed refinement, and you have the perfect setting to truly unwind.

It is on the pricier side, as one might expect, but I would highly recommend it.

This was our first stop after a very long journey.The welcoming staff helped us feel at home and the beautiful Conservatory was a great place for our first dinner.There is a shuttle to near by shopping, Kirstenbosh gardens and the V and A waterfront. The on site gardens are beautiful and there is a nice pool with shaded loungers for relaxing.

Beautiful gardens, lovely pool area, spacious room and excellent restaurant in the lovely area of Constantia. Charming staff.

Our second stay at this superb hotel and it was as enjoyable and faultless as last year. Beautiful location, decor and the most wonderful staff as well as offering the top class Conservatory restaurant where we dined each evening.
