The Cellars-Hohenort

This was our 4th stay at Cellars and we are already looking forward to returning next week. The hotel is stunning, service impeccable, rooms wonderful and food and drinks delicious. This time we also enjoyed a relaxing treatment in the Spa and delightful High Tea in the Greenhouse Restaurant. Thank you for another amazing stay and see you next week!

There is so much to love about this hotel. Firstly, the rooms are so clean and well laid out with everything you could need having been thought of and planned for. Secondly, the service, friendliness of staff and beauty of the estate is second to none. Third, there is a free shuttle that operates during the day to the waterfront and some other nearby locations. Fourth, the breakfast was absolutely superb. I’d like to give a special shout out to Quanita, Inam, Matthew and Zubair!! Everyone was superb but these 4 were standouts!

The only drawback is the lunch and dinner menus are quite limited but this prompts you to explore so every cloud.

We have been here before (2019) and the hotel doesn’t disappoint in any way. Staff always helpful and obliging whenever possible. The rooms are luxurious, traditional in style. The main guest spaces are relaxed and tasteful.

An absolutely stunning hotel - (part of the small leading hotels of the world group). Elegant interiors, beautiful gardens and the warmest of welcomes. The Cellars offers the most incredible customer service - polite, friendly and professional - every part of our stay was exceptional.

One rarely stays at a hotel that not only lives up to the array of rosy descriptions on the website but actually manages to surpass expectations set by themselves. The Cellars-Hohenort is one such hotel. So, have a look at the hotel's marketing, accept their material as fact and then go experience it for yourselves. A must for history lovers and all those who appreciate the elegance of a bygone era. We stayed in a Luxury Double Room (no. 25), which comes highly recommend, as do the sirloin on their menu.

The Cellars biedt pure luxe en comfort. Van ontvangst tot vertrek is alles op hoog niveau. De locatie is prachtig, de inrichting, het personeel en de voorzieningen zijn top! Het ontbijt is overvloedig, het diner zeer smakelijk en onze premier suite was ruim, zeer schoon en meer dan volledig smaakvol ingericht. Er is een fantastische spa, lichaamsbehandelingen professioneel en het zwembad op fijne temperatuur. We komen zeker terug!
