SpringHill Suites by Marriott Pittsburgh Washington

Was treated rudely, by the Manager after I was not satisfied with the room. I was charged for a stay that never took place. I was checked in no longer then 10 minutes and Taylor that manager decided to make a cheap cash grab at my expense by charging me anyway. I expected more from a Marriot Property.

The room was clean and spacious, beds were comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

The pool was cold.

I have no idea how this hotel is allowed to operate under the Marriott brand. It is filthy, rundown, and in desperate need of a total renovation. The bathrooms are covered in mold and peeling paint. The floors looked like they had never been cleaned. Do not stay here.

Rough, dated hotel. Front desk staff Jay was helpful and friendly outside of that there wasn’t much positive to say about the property. Local area is just Walmarts and fast food. Lobby is tiny like the size of a room. The fitness center has more missing weights than actual weights. There’s two treadmills and one broken while the other has error messages as well. Door is broken to enter. Pool and jacuzzi look like they were last cleaned when the hotel was constructed. My room smelled like straight fabulouso and chlorine. Bed was thinner than a tee shirt. Rest of room was clean though just very dated. Parking is limited and full of trucks taking up 6 spaces. Hotel is in major need of upgrade or will probably lose the Marriott name soon.

I am a Marriott Gold member. Marriot should be embarrassed by the condition of this hotel. It badly needs updating. Very sad.

Staff and location.

The room's heating and cooling system made loud awful noises. The last sounded like a woman screaming

Only problem was our room was too far from elevator. Also, some issues with A/C

We booked this room because there was a hot tub in the motel. When we checked in there was a note that said it was closed. When we asked about it, we were told it wasn’t up to Marriott’s standards and all Marriott motels would not have them any more. The room was ok, could tell it was older
