Hotel 2000 Kavaklidere

This was the second time I was staying at this hotel. Last time I stayed at a renovated room on the second floor, but this time I had an old room on the fourth floor: older dirty carpet, cracked bathroom sink, and mold around the bathtub. Still, the overall experience is positive as long as you don't need to ask front dest for any information. Out of three guys I met at the front dest, non could understand anything further than the most basic English. And could certainly not be of help. Had to rely on the internet for that matter. Lastly, the hotel's location/neighborhood is great, which is why I will choose to stay at this hotel again.

Good location, excellent breakfast, friendly staff. Room rather small, but clean and had everything I needed. Would be good to ensure that everyday they have at least the Turkish newspaper in English. Overall i am satisfied

Good location for the restaurants and shops of this Embassy/Hotel area, not so good for the museum and castle. Excellent breakfast in attractive restaurant, good wi-fi, efficient and friendly service. Our room was on the small side, as was the bathroom, and both were looking a little tired. However, the beds were comfortable, the water was hot andeverything worked. Certain amount of noise from outside during the night, but nothing serious and no heavy traffic. Would happily return.

We had a great and positive experience. Clean and comfy rooms, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, and also well located (near US embassy). I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We checked in almost midnight, the blankets on the bed were dirty, we asked them to change it. We were tired and it was inconvenient. The rooms are aged and damaged, need renovation. Water leaks out of the shower and after a quick shower the whole bathroom is full of water which is disgusting. The ceiling bears the traces of the water leaks from higher floor. The hotel does not have any restaurants and it is not required at all, it is just in middle of many restaurants and cafés.

location is fine, but the rooms were smelling smoke. the first night at my hotel, the showerhead was broken and the room was small. the staff very polite, and they've changed the room, but the new room was smelling smoke as well.

My weekend holiday was excellent! The staff was extremely helpful and very kind. Due to the holiday, the hotel restaurant was closed (as were most things in the area). The front desk staff called several places to find someone who would deliver dinner to the hotel. They eventually found a place and took care of everything. Excellent holiday!
