Quality Inn Belton - Kansas City South

We didn't use the breakfast the 1st morning, but it was quite good on our 2nd morning with you.

The hotel was obviously older and showing a little wear. There was no elevator and we stayed on the 2nd floor. Both my sister and I are seniors.

I booked with Hotels.com for this hotel at 8pm We arrived at midnight and the hotel did not have our reservation. It was midnight and they had available rooms that they gave us at a very discounted price, Since Hotels.com reservation never went through and Of course my CCard went through. last time I use Hotels.com This is not the first time this has happened to me.

It was pretty close to the Silo Hills farm, which was the venue for the wedding we went to. So that was nice. Also, PLENTY of restaurants to choose from. They had almost anything you could think of. From waffle house to Longhorn with a 10 minute drive as well as a target. The lady that checked us in was very nice and friendly. The breakfast was decent. They had suasage links, eggs, waffles, cereals, yogurts, juices, bread and bagels, apples, and bananas. The king room was quite spacious, and the bed was pretty comfortable.

The Minifridge and microwave weren't plugged in when we first arrived, so the freezer was sopping wet, but once that was plugged back in, everything was fine. One of the outlets had a prong stuck in it, which made it not work and seemed a little dangerous.

Drapes didn't block out any light. Lights outside are nice and bright so you can see your car, but that light makes it hard to sleep.

The water pressure was terrible. Felt like showering in under a dripping faucet.

There were roaches and people fighting

Our ( my sister and I ) made a trip for her great-granddaughters birthday, it was just a quick overnight visit. We just needed a place to relax and sleep. This fit what we needed. The staff was very cordial, the room was clean, the beds were very comfortable, the continental breakfast was as we expected. I would stay here again.

The location was Very convenient. Checking in and out was simple and very hospitable. “Breakfast” was sub par…and overall cleanliness was just “ok” Parking was limited. It suited my overall need and may use it again…but will probably try somewhere else first. Thanks.
