Best Western Prairie Inn & Conference Center

We stayed here for an overnight trip with our dog and found it to be a very convenient and accommodating choice for travelers with pets and large vehicles. Super Pet-Friendly: The staff thoughtfully placed us on the first floor close to the exit doors. This made taking the dog out incredibly easy and quick. Great Parking: There was adequate parking to fit our truck and trailer. It felt safe enough to leave the trailer unhooked so we could easily drive the truck into town. On-Site Laundry: They have a laundry room available for guests to use, which is great for road trips.

Laundry Amenities: The laundry machines only take quarters, but there is no change machine in the room. Had to walk to the front desk to get quarters. A quarter changer and a detergent dispenser would be great upgrades (though we luckily brought our own supplies). Limited Local Dining: There are very few restaurant options in the immediate area. There is only one diner located directly across from the hotel. Tip for future guests: Because dining nearby is limited, we drove just a short distance into town for breakfast and ate at Judy’s Family Cafe. The food was great and it wasn't too far away!

Room was clean, pool was clean and breakfast was really good.

Nice facility, comfortable rooms and beds, cleanliness was great, and staff super friendly. The staff here seem to genuinely love their job, which is so refreshing. The value is wonderful. The breakfast room is so cool! Its like a vintage Country Kitchen vibe - so spread out with tons of room to sit. They're are lots of options on the buffet.

Extremely limited dairy-free/vegan options. I could have had dry rice crispness, and oatmeal packet, or an apple. No plant milk options. I wish they even just put a sign in the milk case that said ask us if you need dairy-free - and then have oatmilk and maybe a vegan yogurt in the back. It would be super nice if there was even 1 plant milk or yogurt.

The location close to the freeway was good. Breakfast was also good.

The facility was dated and needs upgrades.

It was clean, smelled good and it was a GOOD value for the price. WOW the breakfast real eggs and bacon prepared on location. Three servers in the breakfast area cleaning up and, stocking food. Fresh fruit, cereal, muffins and other stuff. WOW we want to go back again!

The appearance wasn't crisp, ie some flower beds with many weeds, glass in exit doors appeared not to been cleaned in a long time. Small stuff like this

The elevator was broken, the tv did not work, the electrical box in the room was exposed for the AC unit, the bathroom had ants. The beds were clean, so was the floor so that’s a win but otherwise really not ideal for us.

Very clean and well maintained.

Price markup for graduation , shower curtain smell very bad, shower drain cover would not stay up- water pooling during shower ....breakfast coffees need to be much better for the price we paid
