Grand Hyatt Seattle

Baggage crew were lovely. Hotel was a little crowded for a convention but conveniently located closer to downtown area so walking was possible. Front desk was okay. Friendly enough.

This is likely my favorite downtown hotel; I have stayed here several times. I was glad to be on the quiet floor in a larger room. The bathroom with a separate tub was wonderful. I appreciated the coffee machine, creamer, safe, and large closet. The workout room was one of the nicest I have ever seen, and has a dry and steam sauna for guests. The hotel is not attached to the convention center but is just a block or two away. On the downside, the view from the room overlooked a very large white roof that was a bit depressing. There was no spa in the hotel. There was no microwave in the room and there is no fast casual type of restaurant or grab and go other than the Starbucks. I would have liked a casual dinner or lunch spot within the hotel; the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is not really an option.

I was on the 29th floor the view was amazing. The staff was very helpful and friendly . This was a pre cruise stay for us I forgot my cruise boarding pass at home and she was able to print out everything for me. They had shuttle service to the cruise port for $17 per person which was very convenient. The shuttle was really nice as well. There's also a Ruth Chris steak house located inside the property. Property is conveniently located downtown a short walk to Pikes place market.
