Sleep Inn & Suites Chesapeake - Portsmouth

Gross overpriced garbage, who HATE their customers. Had no choice to book this, due to a local concert filling up everywhere better. Booked a non smoking room, in a "3 star" hotel. Showed up to a bad spot jammed between car dealership row, to find a kiosk w an iPad, instead of a front desk. Walked into my room, to a toilet w feces smeared in it (not cleaned between last guest). Cigarette burns in the mattress. Yellow, fluid stained pillows. Burns in the bathroom. Missing broken hardware, no hot water (barely room temp at its hottest) tv doesnt work, phone doesnt work. Room reaked of cigarette smoke. Called posted number, Ai all night. No human. The hotels ACTUAL number, isnt whats posted on Google. 2 numbers? Very sketchy....... left several messages for 2 days to get a manager who after reviewing photos and issues offered a "10%" discount for "next time". Disgusting health risks and human body fluids/products due to shoddy cleaning and owner/agents who give zero care or concerns for customer health, or experience. All side doors dont actually lock, so anyone can come into the hotel at anytime. Dangerous. Run far away, fast. Will be posting photos videos, and phone calls w management to YouTube w link.

My room was 207 the middle of the bed sunken I could only sleep on one side of the bed, ask for housekeeping to change bedding came back to room later that night nothing was changed spoke to front desk about the situation all I got was an I was very dissatisfied with that Bed two sleepless nights

No toilet paper only two towels The smell was to much at times no water pressure in the shower the back door seemed as it had been broken into

The property has an unpleasant smell, and the bed was very uncomfortable. They also advertise that you can pay at the property, but they still attempt to charge your card beforehand. If the charge declines, they may give your room to the next guest. This policy was frustrating and misleading. I wouldn’t recommend staying here based on my experience.

The location was good for what we needed

The smell of the entire down stairs of the hotel stunk and smelled moldy and the bathroom door we couldn’t get closed, looks like they took down the regular doors and replaced them with a sliding door that has nothing to grab hold of to pull it shut. The guy behind the desk was hardly ever there. There was tons of noise and yelling in the hallway around 11 pm and it’s not far from front desk, no one came to see what was going on. Got up the next morning and the entire hall smelled of marijuana.

First room had a disgusting smell of mold and then found black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The furniture and flooring were broken/chipped and peeling. Had my room switched and the mattress smelled of urine
