Lindo Mar Resort

Stayed at the Lindo Mar Resort for 1 week in September in a 1 bedroom unit. The unit was on the 5th floor and had an amazing view of the sea. The resort staff were wonderful. the concierge, Sarah provide valuable information that made our stay easy regarding getting around Puerto Vallerta and places to see. The unit was exactly like the picture online. It was very well appointed. They even supplied bottle water. I would definitely recommend the Lindo Mar Resort and hope to return soon.

I booked this resort because of the great reviews. And, we were not disappointed! The resort was beautiful and rooms had fantastic views of the pool and ocean. We stayed in a two bedroom unit and it was very comfortable for four adults. The restaurant provided good food and great service. The entire resort was well kept and very clean! Everyone on the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a very enjoyable week. Thank you, Lindo Mar!

We stayed for a week and upon arrival thought we were at the wrong place. Very "understated" upon arrival. We were sceptical until we made it into a room. We found Incredible views, clean remodeled accommodations, helpful staff, good food down next to the beach, authentic Mexican decor and reasonable food & drink prices made for a happy stay.

My wife and I Just returned from a one week stay at Lindo Mar. We loved it, and we’ll definitely be returning in the future. Lindo Mar is a small resort with a friendly staff. Unlike many of the other “mega” resorts we’ve stayed at, the beach at Lindo Mar is a very short walk from the elevators. Our one-bedroom unit was on the 8th floor and the ocean view from the balcony was amazing. I saw another review that discussed road noise issues on the higher floors, but that wasn’t a problem for us. We slept with the fan on, and were never bothered by road noise. One of the benefits of the upper floors is the amazing view. Some off the lower floors look out into palm trees. Still beautiful I’m sure, but not as nice as our view. I loved the fact that we never had a problem getting a palapa, even when we didn’t head down to the beach until after lunch. Speaking of lunch, we ate at the resort’s restaurant, La Playita, twice a day. I had planned on heading to town for a few meals, but we loved the convenience of La Playita, and the fact that it’s located on the water certainly didn’t hurt. La Playita likely has one of the best locations in Puerto Vallarta, the staff was wonderful, and the prices were amazingly reasonable. La Playita has two happy hours each day (12 and 5). The only issue I had during my stay was the hard mattress on our bed. Although there was a thin mattress topper, it didn’t solve the problem for me. Hopefully Lindo Mar upgrades their mattresses, or the mattress toppers, before my next visit. Overall, we had a wonderful vacation. I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation at a small resort with wonderful employees.

The hotel is rustic/colonial. The room is very big and our room had an amazing view. We did not like that there is a paper that says that the maid would be tipped with $100 or $200 pesos per day so the first day they cleaned the room but we were thinking to leave a tip the day that we leave but maybe maid didn't think same and she didn't clean the room. The person of the room seevice was not friendly maybe he thought we didn't left enough tip. Generally we consider the place is over priced.

Love, Love this hotel. Small, classic Mexican décor that is maintained in pristine condition. The location on the beach with fabulous views of the entire coast. Small rocky coves on the beach with palapas. Their restaurant over looking the ocean serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Killer Happy Hour from 5-6 with one of the best margaritas ever...could only drink one. You can get bar and food service under the palapas on the beach.

In April we stayed and enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were great, Sarah, the concierge was very helpful with activities and suggestions while in PV. Oscar at the front desk was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant's service was excellent, Eric was always helpful and gave us great seating. Though the food was mediocre but the drinks were great!

When you drive up to the hotel from the highway it is difficult to imagine what waits for you when you head down to the restaurant which is by the beach. There is an absolutely beautiful beach with some rock out crappings and very nice sand and crystal cear water! We went for a very nice brunch and wish we could’ve stayed for days. The food was excellent, the service was excellent, the view was marvellous, and we hope to be able to come again

The property and staff are outstanding. Literally you could not find any better staff. So helpful and friendly. My only problem is the restaurant at this resort. They will bring you items you never ask for then charge you. The food quality has declined considerably from previous years. The restaurant will pad your bill. They will add extra items. If you order one cup of hot chocolate they will charge you for several. Items you are not happy with they will leave on your tab. The service in the restaurant is very slow. It takes 15 to 20 minutes just to get a beverage. (water)

The place, the room and the beach I love it! Everything it was fantastic and the people very friendly! The only thing nobody told me at the hotel when I arrived was: they’ were remodeling some floors for better but 9:30 am there was a lot of construction noises outside and it was difficult to rest in our room. But next year if they done all the remodeling in the hotel I would love to stay again!
