"Casino oriented."

There was no breakfast, from all I could see.

The staff telling me that my ESA is not a service animal, & he couldn't stay there with us.

"Rambler saved the day!"

I didn't originally plan to stay at the Rambler, but when another nearby hotel messed up and gave away my room, I ended up here, and I am so glad I did! As a bit of a hotel snob, I likely would not have booked myself here AND that would have been a mistake. The staff was SO friendly from the get-go, the coffee house was tasty and well-priced (and had a hotel guest discount), and the bed was so soft and comfortable! This motel had so much care put into its design and livening it up, the vibe is spot on and it maintained very well, everything was quirky-chic and clean.

"Cool place"

Cool motel with interesting design and convenient location if you have a car to visit San Diego. You can see the sunset on the ocean right at your door, wich is nice. Downsides are that there is no fridge, coffee maker or microwave in the room; and the Rambler Coffee is quite expensive.

"Would stay again"

Great Motel. It’s a great to stay regardless of how cheap it is. I fell right to sleep every night as soon as I hit the bed. Very comfy. Only downside is there is no mini fridge. I filled the sink with ice when I needed to keep something cold. Coffee house onsite was terrific. Friendly staff and friendly vacationers. Right off the highway. Close to all kinds of places. Would stay again if we make it to San Diego again. Pictures match exactly like the online site.

"Cute, fun, and just what I needed"

I love this motel! The retro vibe is great. Rooms clean, comfy, and has everything needed. Would be nice to have a mini fridge in there, though. I've stayed a few times and never had a problem. The walls are a little thin, so if you're a light sleeper, I would recommend a second floor room.
