Janicia was AMAZING! The food was great….but the service was even better! Janicia’s food recommendations were spot on! I had the Filet and my husband had the chicken. Please ask for Janicia when you go! You won’t disappointed! ❤️

The license to chill bar & cafe was great. Stefani our waitress made our dining experience even better. She took such great care of us.

The food was delicious. The drinks were tasty and most importantly our waitress Stefani was AMAZING. Stefani was hands down THE BEST waitress I think I have ever had. She was fun, attentive, timely & thoughtful. She made our experience here wonderful. We will be back !!

John and Emily made my first time at margaritaville the best! they knew what i wanted before i even did. greatest bday weekend ever!

We are guests at Conroe Margaritaville. Emily and John, License to Chill made our experience comfortable, tasty and wildly fun. Their service of attentiveness and awareness of customer needs was on point. Emily and John made sure to connect with each customer to chit chat about the perks of the hotel but also life and business experiences around the area and the hotel. The food recommendations were excellent — egg rolls, tuna tostada, coconut shrimp. Patrick was an excellent host as he assured our food was served in a timely manner and he made chat since the Texas Longhorns and Texas A&M game was On TV FOR PLAY. THESE 3 PEEPS assured all guests were well taken care of, drink choices perfect, and foos tasty and hot. We will return.

UPDATE: I am rewriting my review because the management response I received was not accurate. The package I purchased clearly stated it included two rounds of golf, the resort stay, and the resort fee. It was not a “gift certificate,” and nothing was misinterpreted. The resort refused to honor any part of the golf package, no golf was provided at all, and they still charged fees that were supposed to be included. They never took responsibility or corrected the situation. I booked Margaritaville Lake Resort in Conroe expecting a fun, relaxing getaway, but the overall experience was extremely disappointing. From the moment I raised the issue, I felt like I was being given excuses instead of solutions. No one took ownership, and the manager did not make any effort to fix the problem or compensate for it. They did not honor the included resort fee or the two rounds of golf that were part of the package. The room itself was very nice and comfortable, which I appreciated, but that was the only bright spot. The pool area was unpleasant: the water didn’t look clean, there were napkins floating around, and the atmosphere felt chaotic with kids hanging around the bar area. It was nothing like the relaxing resort environment they promote in their marketing. Because of the way my package was handled, the lack of accountability, and the rude and dismissive attitude toward resolving a clear mistake, I will not return to this property and I cannot recommend it. This resort needs serious improvement in how it treats guests and how it handles situations when the resort is clearly in the wrong.

Emily, Patrick and Erick best crew ever. These 3 were awesome our whole stay, which was 3 nights they were amazing. Emily has the best smile and memory. She knew what we wanted after one order. Erick was amazing at our orders and Patrick was the bomb. They made sure we were well taken care of. ❤️

Had the best service at License to Chill bar and Grill with Emily and John. They made our stay, they were the greatest bartenders.and servers. They paid attention to us. Talked to us. We feel like we’re best friends.
