"Great getaway for couples in a quiet but accessible location to Hobart."

Very quiet location, exceptional staff, cleanliness and breakfast. Beautiful decor and well stocked honesty bar in the lounge even though we didn't use it on this occasion.

"Wonderful place to stay"

We were in the verandah room and it was wonderful to sit our on the verandah with a cuppa and enjoy the view of the garden and all of Hobart. The garden is wonderful, looking down on it is such a treat. The house is full of beautiful antiques that had to the feeling of being part of the elite of old Hobart!

"Old World Glamour"

Gorgeous historical manor with heirloom fixtures, luxe bedding. Easy walking distance from CBD (though up the big hill of Glebe) and stunning gardens to enjoy. Breakfast was delicious in the sun porch. We'd love to visit again!

There was one creaky floorboard beside the bed (as happens in order buildings) but mentioned this to staff.
