"very nice when not staying in the Servants cottage"

The mainhouse is situated in a lovely garden and the city centre can be reached in a 20 minutes walk. The breakfast was very good!

we stayed outside the mainhouse in the Servants Cottage: no terrasse ( despite what was written on booking), no room service like fresh towels, making the beds, emptying rubbish bins ..managment said: this service is provided only in the mainhouse (??). No direct access to the gardens, steep stairs to the bedroom on the 1st floor, while the bathroom is downstairs, very dark, windows downstairs next to the general breakfast room and kitchen (noisy in the morning)

Everything was wonderful. The owners served a great breakfast and chatted to guests in dining area. Beds comfy. Quiet area . Amazing decor and garden.

Friendly staff, beautiful gardens and good location

Noisiest room we have ever stayed in, people coming and going all hours of the night and noisy, hot room with no fan or air con, opened the window for some air, no fly screens so the room filled with mosquitos, noisy fridge, all night cutting out and in, the bed advertised as a extra large double but was 2 singles put together. Very disappointing.

The home and in particular the magnificent gardens

The coffee machine in the room was filthy and the milk container had the most awful smell. Put me off having any drinks in the toom

A wonderful property, located about 15 minutes walk from the main wharfs at Hobart. Quaint, interesting, beautiful, comfortable room. Good breakfast, nice people

"Absolutely fabulous"

The hotel is incredible. The styling and attention to detail was fabulous. Absolutely stunning in a great and convenient location. Breakfast was also excellent and the owner is lovely and very helpful. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Could not fault it.
