Clean, pleasant and comfortable.quiet surroundings despite central location. Linen and towels were clean and topped up.

Lack of cleanliness was the main issue, especially in the bathrooms.

Bit of a walk to closest supermarket, no local cafes open after 4.30pm (at least none I found), limited food options in evening

Having not used booking.com for a while and unsure how to operate the hotel I chose, I turned out to be an excellent choice, as it is near the conference I was about to attend. As events turned out, I would have liked to stay another night, but when I tried to book on.com again, I couldn't get the date to go forward. When I got to the reception in the morning, all the rooms were taken, so I left Ballarat.

Having been surprised with locality and the quality of the room we had we decided to try and stay another night. I endeavour to do that once again on booking.com but to simply couldn't get the date corrected right it just wanted to rebook me on the same day to play the same rate again for the room which already paid for. The issue I wish to raise with you booking.com is that you assume everybody is a computer geek. People of an older age been read in a different environment and do have a lot of common sense and knowledge but don't understand computer or app sites that well because of the language they use which is foreign to us. There must been away doing what I wanted the just didn't works that time I got there I lost.
