Amsterdam Airport Hotel Uithoorn

Friendly. Real friendly. Great location too I don’t have anything else to say as that darts it all

My Party of people had 19 rooms booked when we got there only 14 We are compiling a list of all the problems to forward to you it took 2 1/2 hours to book in due to no rooms for us although you had them showing on my account When we phoned you in UK you said they were all booked but hotel did not have them on their screen. I am awaiting all the feedback from my party before submitting all our complaints to you.

The hotel is lovely, the service is great and the atmosphere is beautiful. However, the hotel is not as close to Schiphol airport as I thought; and there is *another* Best Western hotel that's really close indeed. So don't get confused because this one is 8kms away from the other one. Still, the hotel is pretty and they let me and my dog stay there and we had a really good night sleep.

About a 15 min drive to the centre, very soft bed, hair-dryer is provided. Very friendly staff!

The positives here are that it was very clean and that the shower water pressure was fantastic. Every other aspect was negative. It was very small, in fact so small that the toilet is at an angle so that the door can close. Literally the sink is in your chest as you use the bathroom. Next the room is ancient, not classical old but dated. Very old and dingy wall paper and hideous carpet. And I could hear the man next door talk on his cell and the kid across the hall cry all through the evening and night. And the smell of cigarette smoke was in my room with the windows closed from the smoking area near the entrance. The bed was barely a full and was hard as a brick. Lastly, there was no elevator so carrying bags was a joke. I am sure that Best Western would not be happy with this place carrying its franchise name. And with the word Airport added to the name of the hotel you would think it would have higher standards.

It was not very clean and it had an odor in the room.

The only problem we had was that the hotel isn't really close to the airport as advertised, however there is a direct bus and it's about 30 minutes to the hotel from the airport with the bus. The staff was very friendly and the hotel clean and comfortable. The area is beautiful and we got to see a different side of dutch living than the middle of Amsterdam.

The hotel is not by the airport in fact it’s was a €40 cab ride away Very disappointing

The hotel gave us what we needed clean , good bed, easy access to airport

Close to city bus station. Can easily get downtown Amsterdam Not on free airport shuttle. Take city bus.
