Arthouse Glasgow - Newly Refurbished

The room was gorgeous with tall ceilings, stained glass windows, and an artful design. The beds were comfortable, and the staff friendly. The location was very convenient to transportation (trains and buses) and restaurants and shopping.

Treppenhaus und Fahrstuhl sind sehenswert! Frühstück hat geschmeckt. Service war freundlich.

Das fehlende Toilettenpapier musste man sich selbst am der Rezeption abholen. Im Badezimmer lagen noch fremde Haare und im Allgemeinen war das Zimmer nicht sehr sauber und das Hotel wirkte etwas heruntergekommen.

This hotel used to be one of my favourites, after the last stay, I’m not sure that I would return.

The hotel no longer does evening meals or dinner service. The chef called in sick one morning so there was no breakfast, not even a buffet. I had to request bottled water multiple times before the request was actioned.

Die Lage war super, fußläufig zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Dass Personal war freundlich und bemüht.

Fenster konnten nicht geöffnet werden, die Klimaanlage war sehr laut, am zweiten Tag kein heißes Wasser, angeboten wurde eine Dusche im benachbarten Hotel, am Abreisetag nicht wirklich hilfreich. Keine Entschädigung oder Aufmerksamkeit oder ähnliches, für die Umstände. Lediglich die Erklärung, dass es Probleme mit dem.Boiler gibt. 4 Sterne sind leider nur die Preise.

Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful.

Could have had a room not facing onto the main street that would have been quieter, as per request. You need to communicate up front what the process is for reserving a space at the Q-Park across the street, so hat one can do this in advance in order to benefit from the discount price provided by the hotel. It was problematic using a non-UK phone and credit card, and incurred unexpected costs.
