Breakfast was very good and the parking and the room was specious

Bathroom a little tired and a lot of road noise in the room we had.

The room was good. Facilities with tea, coffee maker, biscuits etc. were all welcome and good quality. A/C in Auto mode made the room pleasant, especially in the heat wave we were in at the time of our visit. Breakfast possibilities were extensive, cold or hot fare was available and also extra dishes could be ordered. However, breakfast for the light eater was not economical, the price being a bit steep for a bowl of cornflakes. Didn't use the Spa. I believe it's an extra if you want it.

Cost of the breakfast was excessive for four days / two persons. To justify the price you have to eat a lot of food. If they want to charge such a price they should have a Continental breakfast rate for those with smaller appetites at that time of day. Choice of menu for dinner was not extensive but food was good and well presented. The Spa should be priced in to the hotel cost as an attractive feature, not as an extra cost. The hotel is not in a particularly interesting part of the city. There is little charm in its location; walking around the business park gets a bit tedious after the fourth day. Paying for parking is another minus. When I stayed at this hotel many years ago, it was free and that's the way it should stay for guests.

Great location to break our journey to Cornwall. Loved the white company lotions in the room and the fresh milk and water refrigerators to help yourself, the breakfast was one of the best I have had lately, definitely come back again.

We were told the bar menu ran through all day for food and it was the only menu so we ate out, came back later to the restaurant staff who showed us the restaurant menu that looked delicious, if we had known we would have eaten in the restaurant!
