"Nice hotel, but needs some modernisation"

Friendly and helpful staff, and the Junior Suite room was very spacious and clean. The room, although apparently recently renovated, is rather dated. The bathroom has space for a separate shower, yet the shower is in the bath tub, and the tiny old-style wash basin really needs to be modernised. The biggest issue is the noise isolation from the wind. Carnoustie is a windy place, and the windows must have gaps that create a constant howl in the room.

Great stay. Could not fault the hotel in anyway. Staff so friendly overall. Service good Room was executive with its own balcony and patio furniture. Very nice. Spacious lots of storage. Iron and hairdryer provided Main restaurant cater well for individuals with food allergies which is fantastic Pool area lovely and loungers just to chill too. Very clean

Bathroom was mostly clean apart from area around bath. Found decor dated, with bedsheets easily coming off in the night, revealing plastic bed protector. TV was older, so picture quality wasn't great. Walls are thin so could hear other room noises.
