Lovely well maintained hotel in an excellent location. Room with golf view was spacious but maybe a bit dated although very well maintained and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was not so good. Husbands full English definitely was not up to scratch. Bacon was like a piece of leather and sausage slightly burnt. Good choice of continental breakfast with pastries, cereal and fresh fruit. This would not prevent us staying here again as we had a very enjoyable stay and got lucky with the weather. Staff were professional and friendly.

Very nice hotel and all staff are lovely. Good room size and cot with mattress provided for baby. It is just opposite a nice beach. Cooked Breakfast was great and made our baby feel very welcome despite the mess he was causing while eating his continental bf. Leisure facilities were nice but could be busy at times. Would go back for a short break.

The Carnoustie Hotel in Grand! It faces the course and one can sit and watch golf at an “Open” venue! Breakfast is excellent as was the staff. If you are ever visiting Saint Andrews, Carnoustie is only hour away! It’s a must see or better yet play the course or enjoy the spa!

Excellent staff,lovely room overlooking the first tee, slight toilet problem but quickly temporarily fixed, first day breakfast was cold but the second day was hit and perfectly cooked to my liking, would definitely return.
