"Great location and facilities, would stay again!"

The room was big and bed very comfortable. We had drinks vouchers as we were a group celebrating our 60th birthdays! There were improvements underway so the reception was located in the spa so very busy. The spa facilities were good. Bar food and restaurant very good. The only criticism was that we were not able to leave our cases (we turned up early to go to the races) but that was due to no space available but probably due to the current works.

"Good but expensive"

The room and overall hotel was nice... staff were all very welcoming.

bit annoyed that we had to pay extra for the use of the pool because we didn't book the hotel direct. We were not aware of this and we have never experienced additional charges for the use of a hotel pool.

"We very much enjoyed our stay at this hotel and can definitely recommend it."

Room spacious, with air con which was very important during a heatwave. Staff very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Evening meal in the restaurant was also very good. As the hotel was being refurbished, we were given vouchers for free drinks which we thought was a nice touch.

A charge is automatically applied to the bill for use of the pool and spa, and as we didn't use these facilities, we had to request that this was removed.
