Ivan R. provided outstanding customer service at the bar 5 o Clock Somewhere in Margaritaville Rio Grande. He was extremely polite, courteous, and took the time to thoroughly explain both the drink and food menus. His friendly attitude and attention to detail made our experience even more enjoyable. Excellent service!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Puerto Rico Golf & Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how beautiful the property is. The direct beach access was a huge highlight—we loved being able to walk right out to the beach and enjoy the stunning views and warm ocean water whenever we wanted. The kids had the best time on the water slides and enjoyed all the family-friendly amenities throughout the resort. There was never a dull moment! The casino was also a fun way for the adults to unwind in the evenings. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the amazing food. Both Iguanas and Roots were absolutely fantastic. Every meal was delicious, and the service at both restaurants was excellent. We found ourselves looking forward to every dining experience. The entire resort has such a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere, and it made for the perfect family vacation. We created so many wonderful memories here and honestly didn’t want to leave. We are already talking about our next trip back—this place has definitely become one of our favorite destinations in Puerto Rico!

I don’t often write reviews — the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar definitely deserves one. Highly, highly recommend this resort. We spent four nights here and absolutely loved it. Our room was beautiful, newly renovated and extremely quiet. We loved the beach, the Aura pool lounge and the excellent restaurants — Roots Coastal Kitchen and Palio for dinner and the breakfast at Roots were all amazing. The quality of the restaurants and the overall service are five-star-plus. Multiple Rio Mar staff members went out of their way to make our experience more special, from check-in to poolside to dinner at Palio to breakfasts in the morning. A special shout-out to Juan P. at Roots breakfast and Maria from the housekeeping team for making us feel at home and going above and beyond each day, remembering what we like and having it ready without even asking. We’d definitely come back! The resort is also very close to El Yunque National Forest for a day trip (there’s an Enterprise car rental on-site) and Luquillo for excursions and opportunities to explore the nearby beaches and restaurants in Luquillo.

Had a fabulous time here for our wedding anniversary. Everyone was great from Yanuel at Caicu to Anamin at Roots, they all went above and beyond to make everything special. Yanish and Joanni even upgraded our room when they learned of loud neighbors adjoining our room. Thanks everyone for making it a special week.

Big shout out to Christian, who was an outstanding bartender at 5 o' clock somewhere; attentive, friendly, and always made sure we had everything we needed. Nice resort. Beach access was great. Amazing bartending and food at five o’clock somewhere. Teddy was great behind the bar. He made me a martini that was out of this world. He made our trip even better.
