TV, no ironing board,

Location spot on closer to all attraction i wanted to go to, the staff incredible friendly and welcoming, the food was brilliant breakfast was delicious and dinner at the bar area was top-notch. The atmosphere in the bar was amazing perfectly unwinding after a long day. Swimming pool was clean and well taken of.

I did not like the hotel room floor rug, as it did not feel comfortable or clean. The bed was too low for my preference, which made it uncomfortable to use. I also did not like the curtains, as they did not meet my expectations in terms of quality and appearance. Overall, the room did not fully meet my comfort standards.

Tv remotes need batteries , No 6 needs the light fixed on right hand side. No 10. Did not have hot water even though they came and looked at it.

We loved the setting in this beautiful mountain village. The hotel gardens are lovely, but the rooms are cramped. We understand it is an historical hotel (we last visited 40 years ago) and that renovations cost a lot of money, but the corridors and public areas could do with a serious revamp. They are looking musty and tired. The en-suite to our room was new and modern, but that was about all we could say of the room. Wi-Fi is only available in the public areas, which was inconvenient. The bar and eating areas were nice, though, and staff were friendly. Our room was made up each day - a big plus.

See above. We have combined our likes and dislikes in this review. The hotel didn't feel secure at night, but I understand that this whole village has no problems. However, a solo traveller might feel different.
