Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sycamore, IL

First, they put us in the wrong room and we had to move, the room they put us in, the chair that was at the table was in terrible condition. The fabric was worn so bad, and the foam padding was coming out of the sides. The table was so unsteady I was afraid it was going to collapse. There was no maid service on the week-end so if you needed fresh towels, you needed to get them from the front desk. The people were very friendly, and breakfast was ok.

The guy that checked us in was great but when the new shift started the worker was rude due to us not getting cards that worked we had to literally keep going back to get new access cards to get into the pool and the rooms. He was just rude and upset like I didn't know what I was doing then finally he came with to try and use the new card he made and realized I was doing it correctly and I got no sorry no nothing.

Pool and quite

Clean and quiet. Decent breakfast. Close to DeKalb and the university. Many nearby restaurants for dinner. Sid and Tammy provided excellent customer service.

We did not go to hotel because we canceled within minutes of getting confirmation. It booked wrong date. We proceeded to cancel. I called hotel they said it was up to Expedia. Expedia said was to be refunded by hotel. We are still waiting on response from you about refund. Please advise

The fridge in my room is the only fridge that I have ever had actually get cold when staying at a hotel. Actually even froze my ice pack!

When we got there it was late and a group of people had cases of alcohol out front drinking. That there made me want to find a different place but it was late already. Rooms and facilities in general are very out dated.
