Enjoyed the stay. Elevator was out so booked me to the 2nd floor. Enjoyed.

The facility was clean. The elevator was not working. That was a problem for my husband with MS. We were on the 3rd floor, no other rooms were available. There were not enough towels and they told us we had to come get them from the front desk(with no elevator). When I get to the front desk the attendant said that they didn't have any face towels and i needed to ask the housekeeper who was making her rounds to get some from her cart. Remember again, no elevator,I had to search floor to floor to find a housekeeper. A few light bulbs were out on our room and the exhaust fan was on the fritz. Maintenance never came. Not happy..

I arrived and the elevator was broke and I was in the third floor. Then when I get to my room the refrigerator still had food in it. Also the comforter had blood on it. Housekeeping was not quick to do anything.

The room was spacious and very clean. Check in was quick, check out was quicker. Breakfast was excellent and had various hot entrees each morning, and the dining room was kept very clean. The pool was great and also very clean. This hotel is close to everything in Sycamore and I would very much recommend and stay again.

Front desk staff member was pleasant and brought me an umbrella when he saw me trying to get out of my car in the rain with a wedding dress on.

Thought we saw a bedbug but it was a carpet beetle. They seemed to rush checkout as they called at 11:15am to see if we were still in the room and then physically came into the room without knocking at 11:45am then quickly left when they heard my partner and I talking. We checked out at 11:58am before their noon check out time.

AC was great! Nice and cold room. Limited power outlets. Checkout time stated 12 (noon) but doors were locked early by 11:30 am.
