Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Sycamore, IL

Property was very dated. The carpet in the room was dingy and old. The bathroom was run down and in need of updating. The thermostat in the room was non-operational and we controlled the temperature with a dates window unit. Overall, the room was clean but in great need of an update. Will not return.

When we got to the property we found out there’s no cleaning of the rooms which is fine but when you take down the dirty towels to the front desk to exchange them for clean towels and the man at the front desk questions how many sets of towels you can have/need is uncalled for. My husband asked for four sets and he refused and would only give three to him (2 adults in the room). Their breakfasts were just average compared to other hotels.

The carpet had tons of stains on the floor , room was dirty . I like how it is set up .

The Room was Great, Clean plenty of pillows, everything seemed up to date. The breakfast was average/good. But the elevator was out of service, we were on the 3rd floor. Besides the elevator inconvenience, it was a Great Stay.

Bathroom sink clogged, shower faucet leaking, faucet handle was stripped. Trim around window was bad. When it rained water came in got on carpet and air conditioner.

Expedia I was disappointed that you did not let Radison know I had asked two times for a room for a disabled person. They were unaware that I had requested a disabled room.

Elevator was broken and I was on the 3rd floor. My door wouldn't shut all the way and had to have someone come and fix that. Bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. Staff was pleasant.

The property was mediocre, outdated but clean for the most part. Elevator was being serviced and I was on the third floor, so major inconvenience. Breakfast included with stay was very limited and couldn't really keep up with the guests present.
