Almar Timi Ama Villasimius Resort & Spa

Très belle embrassement, très belle plage, personnel très serviable.

Resortti on vanha 70-luvun alusta. Viimein myös huoneet on remontoitu. Yleisilme todella siisti ja henkilökunta hyvä. Padel-kenttiä oli tullut 2kpl myös. Illallis-bufee on laaja mutta toistaa liikaa illasta toiseen itseään ja makumaailma on varsin varman päälle pelattu. Upeat hummerit ja muut raaka-aineet tehdään mutta kastikkeet ja maustaminen unohdetaan. Loistava resortti pariskunnille ja perheille jossa ranta, tennist, padel ja jopa golf lähellä.

Hintalaatushde ei valitettavasti kohtaa. Offseasonilla 2hh half board 370€/yö on varsin paljon. Puhumattakaa mitä se on primetime-aikaan. Osaan vertailla asioita, sillä matkustin 10 vuotta F1-sarjan mukana 200 yötä vuodessa.

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights and throughly enjoyed our stay. We were upgraded to a Junior Suite which was a lovely surprise and a stunning room. All of the staff we spoke too were very friendly and keen to make sure the guests are happy. The pool is beautiful and it’s only a 5-10 minute walk to an amazing Beach, with crystal clear water and soft sand. We enjoyed the walk but there is a buggy service. The hotel has a section of the beach cordoned off and there is bar service. There aren’t any toilets , you have to go up to the other Restaurant, which isn’t ideal. We ate in the Beach side restaurant & Pizzeria. The Pizzeria was lovely, we were given 10 slices of various Pizzas, which was far too much! Unfortunately the Beachside restaurant wasn’t very good, which is a shame as it’s in a lovely location . Breakfast was good, lots of choice. I did find it strange that they didn’t have any toilets by the Pool, you had to go into the Spa area. But this only a minor annoyance. Prices are in line with a 5 star hotel, 16 euros for a spritz and the set pizza meal was 35 euros each. We would definitely return 😊

Clean room, Federico who checked us in was nice. They have a good time for checkout. Main pool is nice spacious area and they have bar service coming round. I liked that they gave complimentary water everyday. Breakfast was a good spread and on until a decent time (10:30) Beach area is nice, what isn’t great is that they charge you to use the first two rows which are the nicer beds. Further back rows are free for hotel guests. You can’t put the umbrellas down either. It’s a shame someone didn’t explain the hotel or the activities available when we arrived. We discovered stuff along the way. They should do at check in or have something in the room. The rooms need more soundproofing. We could hear upstairs all night which kept us up - we had to tell reception to ask them to keep it down. Didn’t feel like they did - we then tried to call reception an hour later (early hours of the morning) and no one would pick up. You can hear your neighbours when they are in the shower as well. The spa needed some TLC and updating. A few parts in their pool didn’t work. The emotion room was emotionless, the sauna small and wood coming up, the steam room was the hottest one I’ve ever visited and large. My wife had a massage and said it was ok. Not worth the money.

La camera era bella e spaziosa. Il personale era numeroso, premuroso, gentile e accogliente. I servizi erano all'altezza delle aspettative. La colazione buona e abbondante. La spiaggia meravigliosa. A pochi minuti di auto dal centro.

Volendo trovare il pelo nell'uovo, si potrebbe fare qualcosa di più sull'aspetto della pulizia: le pulizie giornaliere della camera erano soddisfacenti ma non minuziose e inoltre i cuscini dell'arredo outdoor erano spesso macchiati. Un'altra cosa che sarebbe molto apprezzabile sarebbe un servizio navetta gratuito da e per il centro di Villasimius, almeno in certe fasce orarie prestabilite (così come sarebbe apprezzabile un percorso benessere di base gratuito nella spa per gli ospiti dell'albergo). Un bazar con articoli basilari (edicola, souvenir, cartoleria, farmaci da banco e parafarmaci) sarebbe molto utile. La ristrutturazione dei corridoi delle stanze dovrebbe allineare l'estetica di quegli spazi a quella degli altri spazi comuni.

We stayed at this hotel from the 3rd to the 10th of September 2025, we arrived later than we should and only just managed to have a meal from the buffet that was included in our Half Board, unfortunately, there was not much left, but had to make do, our room was lovely, a superior Bayside room, very spacious and comfortable, and on the ground floor, we ate at the Buffet restaurant most nights, which was included in our Half Board package, and the food was excellent, themed nights, and 5 star food, which for a Buffett is mostly uncommon these days, breakfast in the same restaurant was also a great level, plenty to choose from, we never really needed lunch after a great breakfast, we never tried the solar restaurant or the pool bar food, but we did eat at the outdoor Pizza restaurant, which is a tasting menu, wasn't too sure about this, the pizzas we lovely, but 10 x slices of different pizzas each served in 30mins, was a bit to much, prefer the traditional way of ordering the pizza that you want, at least that way you also know you will like what you get, or even a card at the end of your meal to rate each slice of pizza, we also had an al Carte meal at Ginepri, which is close to the beach, its not included in the half Board package, but if you are staying for longer than 4 nights you get 30 Euros per person off the meal, which is really 27 Euros as they charge a cover fee of 3 Euros each, but again the food was amazing, and was a lovely last night evening. The staff were very friendly, and helpful as much as possible with some broken English, The lifeguards were the only ones who were not very engaging, again, maybe a language barrier, but not once did we get our Umbrellas opened of a morning, when everyone else around us did. we did do a Quad Biking trip, 3 hours into the hills, and this was great and a extremely friendly guy who took us. Lastly we went to the beach twice, private and public beach, the sea water is lovely, and we chose to lay on the free beds, we were comfortable enough, if you want the front row beds they are charged at 90 euros, and the second row is 65 euros, We would definitely come back to this hotel again, and are already looking at bringing family back next year., well done Almar Timi Ama, a great Holiday..
