Best Western Plus Chelmsford Inn

Room not properly cleaned when we arrived and missing refrigerator. The hotel was full so we were stuck with what we had. Pool out of service, still had cover on it. Have stayed here before, but seems to be going downhill.

This was the most horrid hotel I have ever stayed at. My first clue should have been the smoke detector hanging from the ceiling with the wire cut. Apparently they are running a homeless drug addict program from their hotel ok they bottom two floors. They have security guards on each floor except 3 rd. Lots of drug activity and violence in the parking lot. Drunks yelling and another followed me on two the elevator and made me feel extremely unsafe. I have never felt so scared and unsafe in my life and I have stayed all over the United States. I did manage to leave and was then charged twice. If you have ever watched the thriller video it came to life for us this night the freaks really do come out at midnight. Please do not stay here. Please do not bring children here. This hotel really needs a warning sign.

For check out, there was nobody at the desk for over 15 minutes and there was me and two other people waiting to check out. However, my overall stay was great.

Well it was the fact that Expedia allowed me to book after 1am on the 2st to stay the 20th into the 21st when the Hotel doesn't allow it. So basically Expedia fleeced me.

Great hotel and really great breakfast. with covid restrictions they still provided a really good meal.

We have stayed at this hotel before and enjoyed it so much, we returned. I was pleased with the ease of staying during this pandemic. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The staff were more than courteous, friendly and welcoming.

There was no hairdryer in the room. The smoke detector was hanging off the wall. I didn’t appreciate someone trying to come in my room at 7:43 AM luckily the chain was on so they couldn’t enter. The door was locked but yet was opened by someone.

The hotel was not at all as pictured on this site and not up to the condition for the price. Very disappointed.

I did not like the fact that there were sketchy people at this hotel. I would notice police cruising around and sitting in the parking lot. That indicates that problems have occurred at or near this property. I did not feel as safe as I should have staying here. I will not be back here. I will go back to staying at the Marriott in Chelmsford.

The hotel itself is very nice. The front desk attendant was very good. He help me book an extra night with no problem. The clientele was sketchy at best. I felt like i was the only one there that didn't need a drug rehab, from what i saw. Overall it wasn't bad just felt like i needed to make sure everything was locked up tight.
