Sapphire Beach Club Resort

Nice locations, close to a lot of amenities. Staff were very friendly, always accommodating. Our room was cleaned almost everyday and there was a nice pool and bar.

It is very close to the road and our balcony was facing the road, it could be quite loud with motorcycle and honking cars going by, especially at night. As we were on the first floor we couldn’t see the lagoon from our balcony, just the front parking lot.

First time visiting Sint Maarten and the Sapphire Beach Club. First impressions were good. Room very spacious and wonderful staff. The room we were in was ocean front and a million dollar view especially when the glass doors were open all the way. Bed was comfortable and lots of pillows. Overall a good stay. I will say however that our expectations were not high based on other reviews. And they were mostly correct. The hotel, at least our rooms, are extremely outdated and rough looking. Dead bugs not washed off walls or ceilings. The bathroom shower is a complete accident waiting to happen. Huge effort to get in an out of an old jacuzzi tub with no shower curtain. Water everywhere making it dicey getting in and out. Crazy since we saw so many guests older than ourselves. No water pressure in the shower, ran out of water one day. Although I understand that may not have been exclusive to the hotel. Even though our visit was pleasant I would probably not stay there again unless there was an option for a more up to date room. With plug ins that work and more lights, so dark in the room. Dirty lampshades etc. There is an old hot tub on the balcony. Apparently they haven't worked in years and are just falling apart. wouldn't discourage anyone from staying at Sapphire. Location is great, staff is great but the hotel needs a serious renovation.

An older property that survived hurricane Irma in 2017. They've done a marvelous job at keeping it in shape, although yes there is still some work to be done. The staff are wonderful, and really accommodating with requests. Daily and Nightly activities were fun and entertaining. Walking distance to grocery stores and shops made it ideal for us who didn't have a vehicle rented. 6 weeks stay was not enough for us. We wish we could have spent the entire winter here.
