We stayed at Melbourne Marriott Hotel as a family and had a very comfortable experience. The hotel was clean, quiet, and well maintained, which made it easy to relax after busy days in the city. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay and always happy to help. We enjoyed using the pool, spa, and gym, which were great for both adults and kids. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice to start the day. The location is very convenient, making it easy to get into the city and explore Melbourne. Overall, a pleasant and family-friendly stay.

"Untidy hotel"

Booked a room through the AMEX website for 2 nights. When I arrived, it was hard to believe how low the Marriott brand has fallen. First, carpet stinks everywhere and looks like it has not been replaced since 1990s.Huge layers of dust in bathroom exhausts. As a Gold Elite Member, I got an upgrade. I was given the so-called upgrade with a view on the wall. Unbelievable. Is this really a 5* hotel? Minibar is empty, complimentary tap water on arrival and a note saying there is a $6 fee if the bottle is removed from the hotel. My experience with Marriott in Qatar has been much better. For what this hotel offers, the charges are absolutely unjustified. I donā€™t recommend staying here and will never return. Pictures of the hotel on the AMEX travel website do not reflect the reality.

Spacious room, upgrade of canapƩs, breakfast spread. Staff very helpful and we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel for a few hours after we checked out.

Complimentary filtered water stations would be nice on each floor. Just had 6 nights, ideally located great if going to Her Majesty Theatre, China Town, and an easy walk to CBD shops & public transport
