It is an old hotel with renovated bedrooms. It was nice of the hotel to offer upgrade to a proper suite for Titanium member though none was available for booking on the App. They also gave me a free bottle of de Bortoli sparkling wine. The club lounge is small and basic. I only visited on the first evening as the canapés and alcohol were not worth the calories. The gym was small and basic. After torrential rain the gym floor was flooded slightly. Not sure why gym hour ended at 11pm and access after that one had to go to front desk. It was secluded and off the end of corridor on level one. The buffet breakfast was basic too and seemed to be short staffed. On two of three days I had to eat on a dirty table. On two of three days the coffee machine was temporarily out of order and needed cleaning of the ground coffee beans.

We booked here for a few days away in the city attending musicals and restaurants. The room was excellent however the welcome by concierge and reception was very poor and we only stayed one night. We left and stayed with the competition in Collins Street for a much better stay. Once again rooms are really good but that’s where it ended for us.

Excellent stay in a good location. Value for money. Found the accessibility to restaurants and shopping very close.

I booked this hotel back in July via Wotif but never got ANY emails for confirmation or welcoming or arrival time questions- ZERO!!! Tried to cancel but had no itinerary no, nothing to go by. Had a situation at work and things went haywire, I knew I couldn't use accommodation so from August tried to cancel but had nothing to go by so figured it never went through until got a receipt from hotel on the day after we should have arrived saying we were charged for the night even though we never arrived no are you ok??? Nothing!!! Talk about don't give a Fu_K about their guests just happy to take money from someone for nothing - Jey that's how they have more than one hotel right? NEVER stay here and NEVER use Wotif they were just as nasty!!!! 🤢

Awesome location and facilities. Only complaint was the beds, they were quite uncomfortable, particularly one of the double beds in the room we were in.

Breakfast was good but nothing like the Buffett breakfast we had at the Marriott hotel in Sydney.

Mould and hair in shower on arrival, bathrooms could definitely do with a good clean and some updating

Perfect place to stay for a prelim final at the mcg!!!
