Blue Waters Inn

This place was absolutely amazing! The staff was more then friendly they felt like family. Made us feel so good about our stay. The weather was not so good during our stay it was rainy but it was such and amazing atmosphere that we didn’t care about the rain. The food was ssssooooo delicious and the options were great to choose from. The pool was beautiful the ocean was beautiful the entire place was beautiful. The guys who took us on the glass bottom boat were so nice we went snorkeling and it was so much fun. There were so many fun activities to do. We are definitely returning to Blue waters inn.

The beach views were gorgeous and the staff were professional

Our booking showed a beachfront room but on arrival the room was up a flight of stairs with a beachfront view from the balcony. My husband uses a cane so this was not acceptable for us, we did get moved to a beachfront room after two days but we had to pay 50% extra to do this. The stay was great after the move!

The Blue Waters Inn is set in a beautiful private alcove in a stunning location with a lot of privacy on a secluded part of Tobago. The beach is very private and great for swimming, there is a long boat dock you can walk on or dive off and the pool and restaurant/bar location are top notch. However, for the price, the room is very basic, the food mediocre, the service underwhelming. In addition, the pool closes too early and the hotel charges for early check in. Tobago doesn't have many high end options so this is probably the best you're gonna get but don't expect that this hotel will match similarly priced hotels in other locations.

Great location, on the beach, with the Little Tobago boats onsite. Lots of birds walking around to amuse the guests. However the service was less than stellar, with rooms not overly clean or serviced early. Meals took forever, with 1-2 hour wait for an entree common. At the time of our visit we were told the owners were on site and it seemed the focus was on making them happy to the detriment of the guests.

Location is fantastic and only a shoert walk from the town

Cleaning staff, security staff and maintenance staff were outstanding and very friendly. Nature and privacy are the best features of this island and of this location especially. I would definitely return. I enjoyed my stay. The reastaurant is a little expensive, but probably the best one on the island. It is hard if not impossible to find better food in town.

The property is in a remote part of the island and takes around 1.5 hours to get there from the airport. If you opt to drive be very careful on the roads as it becomes very steep and winding at points. If you are being driven then enjoy the scenery! The hotel itself is gorgeous and well worth the drive to get there! You can tell that the owner/s take great pride in the establishment and it shows. Pool and surroundings always clean and exactly what you see in the pictures. The pride resonates with staff as well. The only thing I would change is the road leading from security at top of hill to hotel at the bottom. Needs a bit of TLC. I don't recommend full paving as it may encourage errant driving (on a very treacherous path that cannot comfortably accommodate 2 vehicles going in the opposite direction) but patching in certain areas so you wont find yourself driving too close to either edge to avoid potholes.

The ambiance, the food, the staff are all great. We have been staying at Blue Waters every year for the last 15 years, usually twice now and we will continue to do so. Tobago is quiet at present but Blue Waters is a holiday apart when we are looked after and not visiting our villa at Lambeau, the other end of the Island.

Truly amazing. Friendly, courteous and professional staff. impeccable grounds, peaceful surroundings. Truly a piece of heaven on earth.
