Dishonest, dirty, out of dated

Booked 2 rooms for 4 nights. Requested connecting rooms for an extra $5/night during my pre-check in. They called and told me they could not accommodate because of the type of room. I was okay with that. Checking in they once told me again they could not get me connecting rooms and I was okay. Was told they would put me in rooms on the same floor and would not charge me. First room was not finished cleaning when we walked in. Dirty linens were still piled on the floor and the mirror had finger prints all over so they had to get me another room with no shampoo, conditioner and bodywash. We needed to use the pullout in the other room and the extra linen in the closet was dirty and on the floor with a crusty hand towel. Checking out, I ask to make sure we did not get charged for the connecting room. He printed out the receipts looked though it and assured me that I did not get charged. He also said if I see any issues, I can always call them and they would fix it right away. When I got home and looked at the recipt I saw that I was charged more on one recipt. Looking at it I saw that I was charged $5/day for the connecting room. I was also charged for additional fees and taxes for the check out date for one of the room. I called the hotel. He first said he could not find my reservations and put me on hold for a long time. Then told me he found it but had to look at it. Put me back on a long hold again, just to tell me to call back later when he was not busy.

Pool was down the entire stay. No microwave in room very strange. No laundry on-site very inconvenient.

The breakfast was nice. The room was very big and had everything we needed. We had no problem with the parking even though it was busy. It was only 5 minutes away from the location we were going. Anything you needed was only a short drive away.

The person that checked us in was not very nice and they had no laundry room for guest.

In hopes to make lasting memories of our 33rd wedding anniversary everything went "South" after we arrived to the hotel. It started out being advised of an additional fee, for all guests, for the use of Wi-Fi that was Not listed on Orbitz.com (when I made our reservation) and being spoken "at" by a nasty employee. Because I did not only agree the "amenity fee" without accepting the change, we couldn't have our key card for a room I paid for through Orbitz. When I asked could I cancel our reservation, I was told "Yes, but your room is non refundable because you booked with a third party". We then decided we'd stay, because we had traveled over 4+ hours and like I said, it was our anniversary celebration. The room was dirty and we decided to forfeit our stay and travel home the same night bringing us home in the early hours of Friday. After numerous calls to Orbitz.com, Wyndham Corporate Customer Relations and the hotel directly, I was told No refund would be issued even though I have pictures. Never booking though Orbiz.com or any sister entity with Expedia and an anniversary for the books 😞
