Frayed carpet around hot tub with exposed carpet nails

The furniture is over used. Dirty corners. Breakfast area was dirty. Had to ask for towels at the pool area.

The breakfast area had a lot black mold coming out of the air registers in the ceiling. All of the food - eggs & gravy and coffee was cold. The I’m smelled of bleach. Our swimming suits were damaged with bleach spots ! Burnt out light bulb in room.

Great location. The spa was good. Staff was excellent

I’ve been here 12 hours and already it’s a horrible experience. Call the front desk, no answer…. It’s been 15 minutes and still ringing, it’s 8:15 am. Booked a king suite, AC doesn’t cool to temperature that it is set to. Whole room stuffy and hot. The time on the phone and microwave isn’t set and there is no alarm clock in bedroom. It can only go down from here. Oh…. And I was calling the front desk for the WiFi password… it wasn’t written on the key card case… it’s still ringing… no answer

The room was spacious, and the Inn was quiet during the evening. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Public areas were not clean. Floors had dirt and who knows what at door thresholds, around edges of floor. In rooms, tub was discolored and there were towel racks is bathroom. Cracks in walls around windows. No charging ports. Lighting was dim, 15 watt bulbs. Breakfast was ok. The breakfast staff was nice!

My wife tried to stay at this hotel on Friday, July 25, 2025. When she arrived around 8:00 PM, the air conditioning in her first room was not functioning properly. The temperature and humidity were incredibly high. It was uncomfortable and unacceptable. When she was given another room, the second room was dirty and disgusting. The sheets were not clean, with hair and makeup on them. There was trash on the floor of the bathroom and the fixtures were peeling and corroded. She asked for a refund, and the manager on duty that night told her they would approve it. Flash to today and the Country Inn & Suites refused to honor the refund. They're claiming that my wife somehow checked in at 6:56 PM. This is not true. Management even doubled down after she went into the hotel and showed them photos taken elsewhere around that time with metadata to prove it. They insist she was there for an hour and their system can't be wrong. So, they seemingly lied to my wife's face on Friday and again today. I called the hotel and the person at the desk claimed the manager was in a meeting despite supposedly speaking to my booking agency just minutes before. After repeatedly requesting to speak to the manager, I was hung up on twice. All we want is a refund for the two nights we booked, but apparently this hotel's staff and/or management see fit to lie and cheat to keep $334.66. Avoid at all costs.

the breakfast was very cold

Pool & hot tub was closed when we arrived. Tub drain was plugged/full of hair. A couple sheets of toilet paper or paper towel were on the floor in the elevator Fri & Sat. At the end of our stay the toilet wouldn't flush and there was a chair and towel at the bottom of the pool, we were told it would be removed, but it never was so we left.
