Kivotos Mykonos - Preferred Hotels & Resorts

I stayed at Kivotos Mykonos with friends and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming—we truly felt like part of the family. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful views, a peaceful vibe, and top-notch service throughout. Every detail was taken care of, and it made for a truly relaxing and memorable stay. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a special place to stay in Mykonos!

Easily one of the best spots I’ve stayed. Perfect mix of luxury and relaxed Mykonos vibes. The private beach is unbeatable, the pool scene is top-notch, and the staff takes care of you like family. Rooms are stunning with unreal views. If you want the full Mykonos experience with a place to truly unwind — this is it. Will absolutely be back.

The property is absolutely beautiful and felt like we stayed in an oasis! It is so romantic and definitely worth the stay. It is walking distance to Ornos beach. You take the stairs and go directly to the town instead of walking on the busy roads. I need to point out the breakfast which was absolutely delicious and what I looked forward to every morning. Make sure to order the orange juice, so GOOD. Only issue is going to Mykonos town, it’s expensive to take a taxi (35-55 Euros) but that is the price all over the island. Consider taking the bus from Ornos or renting an ATV!

This was my first time visiting Mykonos, and I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful introduction to the island. Staying at Kivotos Mykonos was a gift from my family, and it truly felt like a dream from start to finish. What stood out to me the most was the incredible view—absolutely breathtaking. Waking up to the sound of the waves and being so close to the sea (right on Ornos Bay) created such a peaceful and calming atmosphere. You really feel connected to the water here, and it made every moment feel special. The whole experience was unforgettable, and I’m so grateful to have stayed in such a stunning location. I’d absolutely return.

This was my third time in Mykonos, and this time, I finally chose to stay at Kivotos Mykonos — and I can’t imagine staying anywhere else again. Staying at Kivotos Mykonos was like stepping into a dream sculpted from light, sea, and luxury. Nestled in a quiet cove near Ornos Beach, Kivotos isn’t just a place to stay — it’s a sensory experience. The Cycladic architecture is stunning. Our Junior Suite felt curated, with elegant furnishings, and sweeping views of the Aegean. The service was flawless — discreet, warm, and deeply personal. I’ll never forget Konstantinos, who welcomed us like old friends and went above and beyond throughout our stay. His thoughtfulness made our visit truly unforgettable.

I found Kivotos Mykonos when looking for the perfect location to propose to my now Fiancée. This luxury hotel is the most aesthetically beautiful hotel with the most incredible views over Ornos bay. The mix of modern and ancient art creates a sophisticated, luxurious atmosphere that is carried throughout perfectly. Although Kivotos has 50 rooms, you almost feel as if you’re in your own exclusive private villa, everything is so cleverly and incredibly designed - I really cannot express just how amazing this site really is. The main pool area has a swim up bar, and views over Ornos bay where yachts are plenty. The reception area is perfect, with an additional hideaway with absolutely stunning views that we used when waiting for taxis. We were upgraded to a suite with a private pool after booking a deluxe suite with sea view, this was just the most amazing surprise. The room was the perfect size to feel grand yet intimate and to have the private pool with the views meant we could just relax and enjoy a dip together. The room service team were amazing, they were very on-hand all day quietly going about their business. We would often pop in and out of the room at all times and whenever we came back the room was made up and spotless. They were all so friendly and would always greet you with a smile. Dining at this hotel is impeccable. I cannot put into words how unbelievable it really was. Please see my reviews for both the Namah restaurant and the Nero Nero private dining separately as there is too much to write about both. I booked the Nero Nero private dining on the first night for my proposal dinner and the Fotoula and the team made this the most perfect moment I could ever ask for. More on this in a moment though. Chris Pedes is the head chef here and an artist when it comes to culinary. We have never tasted flavours like this ever. This also goes for the Namah restaurant, the most incredible food and views over Ornos bay. Eating here is an experience from start to finish. There is a gym and wellness spa on-site that we didn’t find time to use but will definitely be back for as well as a chapel and the option for a wedding that we are very highly considering. Now, where Kivotos really excels is the incredible, incredible staff on hand to assist you at all times, whether you’re up for an early morning or coming in from a night in old town, they were always here to assist with a smile on their face, greeted us by name and nothing was ever too much trouble. I had been emailing Fotoula back and forth ahead of our arrival to arrange the proposal and everything was perfect on arrival, they arranged the candles on the pier, drinks on arrival of to our room as well as a fruit platter, they joined in on some theatrics beforehand to help me keep the ring box out of sight for my partner so she didn’t know the proposal was coming, we were treated like royalty for the entirety of our stay and we never wanted to leave. We have been luckily enough to travel the world to some of the most incredible places and we have never, ever been somewhere that has treated us the way we were here. I feel that if the price was 5 times more than it was I’d have felt like we hadn’t paid enough. I cannot thank everyone here enough for making this trip unforgettable and perfect. We will be back for definite - it cannot come soon enough! If you’re thinking of visiting Kivotos, Santorini we visited the restaurant here back in 2021 together on our first holiday as our first holiday dinner date and I can assure you it is just as exceptional and the sunset here is to die for! Thank you to every single member of the Kivotos team for everything you have done for us form one very happy newly engaged couple!

Our stay at this five-star Preferred Hotel in Mykonos was exceptional. Even though we arrived on the first day of season opening, the service was truly top-tier—professional, attentive, and warm from the very first moment. We stayed in a sea view room, enjoying breathtaking views over Ornos Bay. The proximity to the sea was remarkable—just 5 min walk to the crystal-clear waters-, making every moment feel effortlessly connected to the natural beauty of the island. Highly recommended!

We stayed there during the summer - what a waste I would consider going to the Myconian or other higher-end hotels in the island. They are clearly not set up for prime time. Highlights - they gave our room by mistake to a different member - the room given to us - AC not working, the bath was dirty no internet etc. They tell us they have no room to sleep and finally found us a side room where the AC also didn't work. We then went back to our original room the next day and were promised that at a minimum they would refund our first-night stay. After going back on their word, i had to involve Amex who got it done. Not only is the service poor they are not to be trusted. Go somewhere else.

Stunning views, unique pool, incredible instagramable corners, 5* food and privacy when you need it. It is one of the most instagramable hotels in Mykonos, with countless beautiful corners especially when taking the steps to the beach.. I loved the sense of luxury but also the feeling of being welcome and at home by the staff and the owners. We had a great sleeping experience, it is very important to us and were lucky to attend a live art creation event & exhibition in the gallery.. Last but not least, the food..!!! I knew that dinner at Namah restaurant was a must but honestly it was above any expectation! we will be back..!

This was our first time to Mykonos. The property at Kivotos is stunning. Having our own private beach was beyond exciting because all of the beaches charge $40.00 to have a chair and umbrella. The staff was so gracious and kind and bent over backwards to make our stay perfect. Also having a bidet in our room was wonderful as we quickly learned you don’t put toilet paper in the toilets in Greece. I will forever be a fan and recommend Kivotos to anyone wanting a luxury stay in Mykonos!!! Special thanks to Fatoula and Gregory for making our stay so special.
