Location - great. Directly across from the state capitol. Lots of places to eat around, and a block to State Street Mall, leading down to the university campus. The hotel was very nicely done, rooms were comfortable while being a bit small, but my king room had a comfy chair in it. The value, I felt, was phenomenal. The room was very clean, and even though the hotel was full due to an Ironman race weekend, I never heard any noise in my room. The front desk was very helpful. There was parking on site and a nice restaurant in the lobby. I would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Madison.

Overall the hotel was very good experience. Our only issue was in the restaurant. When we checked in on Friday afternoon we decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. Even though we had a party of nine, it should not have taken over an hour to get our food. Also, the server never came over to update us about the delay. The next day, two of us attempted to eat breakfast in the restaurant. We seated ourselves, but no one ever came over to wait on us. So we left. We were really disappointed that we couldn't enjoy a meal in the hotel.
USPerfect location in downtown area
USFriendly staff. Loved the bathroom, especially the shower. It was squeaky clean. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The complimentary Pharmacopia Black Tea and Fig body wash, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion shows that the company is thoughtful of their guests. They smelled amazing too and not drying to skin and hair. My only is that I wish the hotel wasn't so drafty. The hallway was very chilly. My room was chilly as well upon arrival. This is Winsconsin so it would be nice to have some heat running. Once I got the heater going it got better.
USView was great
The valet broke the windshield wiper off of our car
This was the perfect location for everything we wanted to do in Madison! We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to go and it was a short drive to any of the other places we wanted to visit.
