Meadow Acres Inn

Conveniently located- difficult to access from southbound traffic-

We chose this hotel because it was affordable and close to the Topeka Expo Center. We were attending the NAIA wrestling championships and most of the hotels were already booked. When we pulled up in front the hotel I have to admit we were disappointed. But once I went inside to check in I was greeted with a very pleasant reservation clerk that assured me that we would be staying in the newly renovated building behind the main building. The room was very clean, had a microwave and a mini fridge and a new flat screen television. The indoor pool was very well maintained and we enjoyed a nice swim after a long drive to Kansas. Very pleased overall.

This was our second stay at this hotel to attend the annual Kansas Silent Film Festival. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Clean and comfortable, good value for the price. We really appreciate the variety offered at breakfast, my daughter was especially happy that the gravy did not have meat. We will be back again next year!

This was an excellent choice for us. all ground floor rooms so no climbing stairs with suitcases etc. Mini fridge in the room meant I didn't have to eat out unless I wanted to and the microwave was there to warm up food if needed. Single serve coffee pot kept me in hot water for my tea. Bed was ok for comfort. Staff supplied extra pillows when asked. Breakfast was good too. It was an easy drive to Washburn University which is what I wanted. Overall, good experience and I would stay again.

If you're looking for a budget option that is clean, safe, and you aren't turned off by a "no frills" appearance, this hotel could be a good bet for you. This is a motel, so you will enter the rooms from the outdoor entrance from the parking lot where there is no elevator to the second floor (if you need ground level entrance, call ahead, there are ample rooms on the first floor). While the room was not fancy, it did have free wifi, the room was clean, if simple, and had all the basic amenities -- blow dryer, ironing board and iron, etc. The building was quiet. It did take a while for the room to warm up (it has in-room temp controls), but my visit was a last-minute booking, so this might not be an issue for guests who book in advance.

Nothing fancy but it filled the bill at a reasonable cost. Needed a place to sleep while traveling through and it met expectations. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful.

It was a cheaper hotel for a one night stay I would proberly stay there again if I was in that city or town

Driving across country with my sister and we decided to stop for the night in Topeka. The econolodge was a decent price and right off the highway. All we were looking for was a warm bed and a hot shower which is what we got. I gave it 4 stars because the building is a little old, we had to replug back in every amenity in our room and the shower head was kind of low so unless your 5 feet you have to arch backwards to stick your head under it. Otherwise a pleasant stay.

Room and breakfast was fine.

It was ok but for the money, I thought it would be better. The rooms were clean and painted. Bed was horrible...
