Historic Hotel Bethlehem

Exceptional hotel. Great location. Comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Good sound-proofing.

$10 per day parking fee feels tacky considering the premium price of the room. There is practically no other way to get to the hotel except by car.

Cute and historical hotel. Music in the lobby while we had breakfast and took in the environment. Everything is walkable nearby. Great for sightseeing rather quickly. We were able to Uber to PPL center for a concert. Slept soundly, couldn’t hear anyone else. Comfy bed. Overall cool vibes!

Loved the vicinity of the hotel in the downtown district, extremely elegant and service and food were exceptional!

We’ve been staying there for 4 years while our son was at Lehigh, and now our daughter is there for the next 4 years and we are thrilled!!! We love the hotels it’s our home away from home, everyone always welcoming and we love Stavros- he always remembers us and makes the best cocktails. Also, we were just there last weekend and despite there being a wedding, they accommodated us with an upgrade because our daughter wanted to spend the night with us at the hotel.

We didn't have breakfast but found every aspect of the hotel very pleasant. The sense of history, the care for it, and the pride of the workers for working in such a structure is a joy. Thanks!

The bathroom, of course being 'historic' are now quite old fashioned. But you would need a god architect to figure out any options. Not to mention about costs

Our room was excellent. The staff were great. The hotel lobbies were very attractive. We had looked forward to dining in the beautiful dining room. Our biggest regret was the food. See below.

We both had entres. My husband ordered the strip steak RARE and even discussed with the waiter that he really did mean RARE. The food arrived not at all rare and it was returned to the kitchen. In the meantime, my dinner was served (halibut) but became cold waiting for at least 10 minutes before my husband was served with his steak. And it was not tender. It was not the evening we had wanted.
