The physical place is very nice and well appointed The rooms and beds are comfortable and what you would expect from a historic property. The pre stay conversation I had with staff was very helpful and kind .

The staff at the front desk and restaurant were minimally courteous. Very courteous were the bell staff - they were very kind and helpful Can not say enough about them . They made things pleasant.

Great location, wonderful history, and very comfortable accommodations! Very professional & pleasant staff whose goal is to make your stay a memorable one!

Gorgeous historical property. Located in the heart of the historic district, so lots to see and do. Information Center a few doors down. Multiple restaurants close by. Good food on site. Staff is lovely.

Because this is an old building, it has quirks. There is a thermostat in each room, but you can’t really control the temperature. We visited between Christmas and New Year’s and it was quite cold outside. Even after turning the heat off completely in our room, it never got below 83F. So we’d open the window a crack. But because it was so cold outside, after a few minutes we’d have to get up and close it. This pattern greatly hampered sleeping. Regulating the temperature of the water in the shower was also quite difficult. The water was freezing one moment and scalding the next. Far more time was spent fiddling with the control and jumping in and out of the water stream than actually washing.

Location and decor was beautiful

Overly crowded with 3 weddings. Room was not ready until almost 5pm. Walked around crowded lobby with luggage. Front desk female worker did not even offer to hold luggage behind desk while waiting for room that was not ready

Very beautiful around Christmas time. Beds are very comfortable. King room was massive and luxurious Very easy to park

Thermostat had heat only and no ac, room was very hot (78 degrees). Had to open windows. No bathroom ventilation fan Not the best noise insulated. Can hear people very easily outside room.

It's a lovely hotel with very friendly staff. And it could not be in a more perfect location.
