Best Western Asheville-Blue Ridge Parkway

Everything was clean, the breakfast was good, and there were plenty of seats available.

I am lowering my rating because the $100 deposit wasn't disclosed at the time of booking. We were specifically looking for a hotel that didn't require a deposit. Also, two individuals—who likely weren't guests—came into the hotel. They needed to use the laundry facilities, but since they weren't working, they left. One of them had his pants sagging so low that his backside was exposed. I am deeply upset that my children had to witness this. The hotel needs to do a better job of monitoring who is on their premises—perhaps by installing cameras or securing the grounds. There are many homeless people in the city, and it makes me uncomfortable to think that I might be washing my clothes in a place where lice could be present. Nevertheless, I am not lowering the rating significantly, as everything inside the hotel was excellent.

Location was good. Breakfast was fine, staff was very friendly and property was clean and spacious and surrounded by trees, was pleasant to wake up to that.

There were no elevators to carry luggage though staff was nice to help, otherwise it was good.

Something on sticky on the floor between the beds. I used a wet towel to clean it up. Loud dog barking in next room kept me from sleeping. Although I called the desk twice it continued. Occupants did not respond to the front desk’s calls. Only temporarily stopped if I pounded on the wall. (Six times the first night, only twice second night). While this was not the hotel’s fault, I think they could have been more firmer with the dog’s owner.

The room was very clean, and the staff was super friendly.

Getting out from the parking lot to the main road was a little difficult

We enjoyed our stay here very much. Dylan, the manager who greeted us, was friendly, helpful, and full of information that made our stay even more comfortable. Later, when we could not work the remote, he went above and beyond and actually came to our room to demonstrate how to access channels. He explained the nuances of the remote and stayed until we were able to operate it without assistance. We really appreciated his naturally caring manner. We loved the accessability of this hotel, as we could drive right up to our door. This made it so easy to unpack. Our room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The breakfast area is unusually spacious. We enjoyed sitting in our own nook and the coffee, waffles, and yogurt with fruit were quite good. Out of the many Best Westerns we have stayed at, we agreed that the coffee and fruit were most exceptional here. We look forward to revisiting in the future!

This is a great hotel option for Asheville. It is near both downtown and West, so perfect for us. Always super clean, comfortable, and a great value. Breakfast has a good selection every morning (continental and a hot bar). It's our mountain retreat!
