Reception staff very helpful especially Eric who went out of his way to help us.

The air conditioning in the room only went to 18 it was red hot in the room.

The location was great and the staff was friendly

The hotel felt chaotic and had a generally stressed atmosphere. I ran out of toilet paper, and there was no water provided in the room. However, the worst part of my stay was the breakfast experience. The breakfast room felt extremely hectic and overcrowded. I have stayed at many hotels where guests may need to queue for a table, but once seated, you can usually relax and enjoy your meal. That was not the case here. I was dining alone and, after eating a little, got up to get a second cup of coffee. When I returned to my table just a minute later, it had been given to another couple, and I was told I had to move. This was very uncomfortable and, in my opinion, completely unacceptable. Overall, the experience felt disorganized and far from relaxing. After this experience I did not want to eat here the next day so I asked the hotel to refund the cost of the breakfast, but was refused. They offered me to eat in my own room. I declined this offer. In my view not a hotel for single travelers.

Guest services directory only available via the TV remote didn't work so couldn't access room service options.

* No luggage porter or assistance on arrival * Long queues at check-in and luggage/cloak room with poor signage * Restricted access through revolving door only, side entrance out of use * Sofa bed not made despite booking including a child; long delay to fix * No dog bed or bowls provided; slow resolution despite repeated requests * Room service not answered; had to leave room to get assistance * No minibar in room * Breakfast had to be ordered via Deliveroo due to lack of service response * Swimming pool required booking with limited availability * No Sky TV and poor TV picture quality; difficult remote control * Bathroom taps only provided hot water * Curtains did not close properly, causing early morning light disturbance * Overall feeling of reduced service levels and understaffing

Couldn't fault anything, great room, offer of an upgrade for a small fee (seaview), friendly and helpful staff and lovely breakfast.

The bed was a bit springy and uncomfortable.
