Well run hotel with excellent restaurants. Parking is convenient. Lots of extra fees is a negative, like $172 for my dog, $55 self parking and $60 resort fee (not part of basic amenities?). With so little competition nearby why not charge straight up?

I came to The Lodge and it is exquisite, the feel of old money and prestige in the air. The bartender who served me at the Grill had a busy shift, servicing both patrons from the bar and the restaurant. He was very personable, calm and friendly. I requested a MOCKTAIL and he recommended a Raspberry mojito, with extra ice. It was probably among the best mocktails I've ever had. Raspberry puree mixed with some simple syrup - shaken, not stirred - garnished with a couple mint leaves. Sweet, refreshing, and fruity with that extra mint kick. Well made and the whole presentation only took him about 45 seconds to make. I believe my bartenders name is Tyler and I enjoyed his banter and customer service.
