Coconut Garden Island Resort

Our stay at Coconut Garden Resort was unforgettable! Nestled on the beautiful Cagnipa Island, it felt like our own private paradise. Although the forecast predicted rain, we were lucky to enjoy two full days of sunshine—perfect for exploring and relaxing. The house reef just off the beach was a highlight—amazing snorkeling right at our doorstep! The resort's menu and food exceeded our expectations—fresh, flavorful, and with great variety. Every meal felt like a treat. The staff were fantastic—welcoming, attentive, and always ready with a smile. And we absolutely loved the resort dogs, Momo and Toytoy—sweet, friendly companions who made the experience feel even more homey. The boat shuttle to and from Port Barton was scenic and smooth, adding to the adventure. For most of our stay, we had the whole island to ourselves, which made it incredibly peaceful and special. A group of about 15 guests arrived after we left, so we really got to enjoy that serene, castaway vibe. If you're looking for a unique, off-the-beaten-path island experience with great hospitality and natural beauty, Coconut Garden Resort is the perfect escape. We’re already dreaming of coming back!

Tolles Resort auf der schönen Insel Cagnipa. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Sandra managt alles sehr kompetent, zaubert tolles Essen und ist ein wahrer Sonnenschein. Immer freundlich und aufmerksam. Vielen Dank für alles! Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

A little paradise! The staff was really friendly. Amazing cooks. The food prices were decent. (They even have good quality red wine). The beach was beautiful. Nice fishes. The grass in the garden was a nice change from sand. We saw beautiful fishes while snorkeling and two monkeys and some bats at night.

The room was kind of old looking but the sea view from it made us forget this part.

הגענו לחוף פורטו בארטון שאליו הגיעו שני אנשי צוות מדהימים והשיטו אותנו כשעה עד שהגענו לאי מושלם על החוף הכי יפה ביקום, אנשי הצוות ישר סחבו לנו את המזוודות, על החוף היו כלבים נקיים וחברותיים מאוד לצד הכלבים קיבלה את פנינו סנדרה המדהימה בחום רב. החדר היה מדהים, בדיוק מה שהיינו צריכים ונקי מאוד. החוף היה נגיש מאוד ורצוי להביא שנורקלים מפני שיש שם דגים מדהימים כולל צבי ים. הארוחות שאכלנו שם היו הכי טעימות שאכלנו בפיליפינים בפער, ארוחת הבוקר הייתה מדהימה הכוללת ירקות ולחמים טריים וארוחת הערב הייתה מושלמת לגמרי אין לי מילה אחת רעה להגיד על המקום, הם חשבו על הכל כולל משחקים לילדים כאשר חיכינו לאכול שגם הוא הגיע ממש מהר.

Die Unterkunft liegt auf einer einsamen Insel, Cagnipa Island. Ein wunderschöner Strand und eine schöne Anlage. Mit Tischtennis, Boccia und Federball. Der Strand ist einfach ein Paradies. Im Restaurant ist das Essen wunderbar.

Beautiful location and guests have their own beach and snorkeling spots, quiet and far from the crowds, the staff are helpful and courteous.

Amazing location, great snorkeling, secluded, beautiful. Slice of paradise, amazing memorable experience, would definitely recommend and would go again.

Very basic accommodation, was OK if you know what to expect. Mosquito nets on the beds made sleeping fine but expect bugs/geckos.

We loved the property being a boat ride away from Port Barton, which gave us the feel of having the entire island to ourselves at such an affordable price! Clean beach, fine sand, clear waters. There’s nothing more we could ask for. To top it off, their menu was delicious! The staff were also top notch in hospitality and were always there to assist us & make sure we were comfortable during our stay.

Very pleasant indeed , beautiful scenery and peaceful. Make sure you bring insect repellant and I dont advise kayaking around the the next bay north. The second we set foot on the sand an extraordinarily obnoxious and aggressive man / campsite owner said he would set his Rottweilers on us which kind of put the dampers on the day.

The perfect place to relax and enjoy a pristine beach. The place is very remote, with not so many tourists when we were there, the beach is amazing and the garden around the cottages is really nice and well maintained. The staff was amazing, helpful, always nice. The surprise was the food, they cooked really good food for us and have a lot of vegetarian options. Also, they have filtered water for refilling bottles and coconut juice and cocktails options. The room could be renovated a bit, but the beach, snorkeling place and the hike in the jungle compensate a lot and we spent most of our days outside.
