The location was breathtaking!

Nothing to complain about

incredible Etna and sea view from our room, stunning beach and pool area, direct sea access, regular shuttle bus service to Taormina, quality cocktails at the bar, comfortable firm mattress in the room and proper blackout curtains.

the building and the rooms are old and lack soundproofing (we could hear a lot of noise late into the evening, which affected our sleep every night of our stay). The lift system can get very busy and slow during busy times of the day. The breakfast is a joke (by Sicilian standards). The service: we had variable experience, from friendly and helpful to grumpy and outright rude in just 3 days. The reception seems overworked and super busy. Also, staff shouldn’t consider that tourists cannot understand Italian.

The waterfront pool area was amazing! The tunnel in the rock that leads to the pool and beach was very cool ! The shuttle to town was a great ! The room was very comfortable. The staff were very nice and helpful. The breakfast had many food options and was very complete! The hotel restaurant was very good also.

It would have been nice to have more shuttle times available to and from town .

It is an old hotel and after the ownership changed, the hotel lost it authenticity by the renovation and unfortunately made in an unmatched way
